Juventus have granted midfielder Pogba permission to undergo a medical at Manchester United in the coming week. This means that the most controversial transfer of the summer is about coming to fruition.
Juventus manager Maximiliano Alegri summoned Pogba back to Italy from the United States where he was enjoying his post Euro 2016 holiday to resume training with the Serie A champions on Monday, but fresh news arriving from Italy has revealed that the player would instead be heading to Manchester within the week to have a medical.
Manchester United released a statement confirming the news few hours before the kick-off of their community shield game against Leicester City on sunday 7 August.
Pogba left the Manchester based club on a free transfer four years ago angering a lot of Manchester United fans in the process and is now on the verge of completing a world record transfer back to the club perceived to be in the region of $130.000.000.
