The England national team have been without a manager for over three weeks since Roy Hodgson's resignation after the recent EURO disappointment. Ever since, a three man panel consisting of FA chief executive Martin Glenn, FA technical director Dan Ashworth and FA vice-chairman David Gill has been setup to put another manager in place. Candidates such as Jurgen Klinsmann, Steve Bruce and Allardyce have been interviewed for the position and it seems Big Sam has emerged as the favourite for the position. Sky Sports News HQ understands that Sam Allardyce will be ratified as Roy Hodgson's replacement at an FA board meeting on Thursday. England would hope he is the man to get the best out of the England players.
