Chelsea have launched a £41.5m bid for Paris Saint-Germain star Edinson Cavani.

Chelsea Football Club have reportedly made a move to bring Edinson Cavani to the Stamford bridge in a bid to bolster their squad for the highly anticipated 2016/17 premier league season. Sky sports believes the bid to be in a region of £41.5m. PSG have just lost key player Zlatan Ibrahimovic to Manchester United and it remains to be seen whether they would be willing to let Cavani leave also.

Chelsea have already signed Ngolo Kante from reigning English champions Leicester City and Michy Batshuayi from French outfit Marseille and their new Italian boss is keen to add further reinforcements.
